The results of the Junior class from the fifth round of the British Rallycross Championship at Leadenhill remain provisional until the next round at Pembroke.

The fifth of the nine rounds of the British Championship took place at Lyddenhill in late August. Roberts Vītols was in second place in the final, but the leader had not yet reached the Joker’s lap – a situation that promised a much-needed victory for the overall standings. However, Vītols’ follower at the time, Ben Sayers, caused contact with the Latvian’s car, as a result of which Robert’s car went into a prolonged skid, and consequently lost almost all positions. The judges examined the incident for a long time on the day of the race, but the situation was not fully resolved. Later, in correspondence, Vītols’ team learned that the results would remain provisional until the next round in Pembrokeshire, which will take place on September 21 and 22. Accordingly, the current overall standings situation, in which Vītols is in third place, also remains provisional.
